Air rifles are seriously underrated. A friend of mine got shot in the neck within millimeters of his jugular when he was about 17 or so.
He didn't know the pellet was inside him for over ten years. He began experiencing pain and tingling so he went to the doctor and they said it was too risky to remove it.
He suffered with that pellet until a few years ago when he discovered that it had worked itself almost to the surface and he dug it out himself.
No shit?! If I'd have known that, I'd have been selling air rifles to felons a long time ago.I have a hatsan .30 cal 135. You can take down a yote under 40-50 yards with a well placed shot.
I once shot myself with an airline fed nail gun. I was put on a job that was impossible to make a bonus on, and my supervisor absolutely hated me, as I just didn't give a fuck, no matter how much he tried to make my life a living hell, working there. I'd thought about a couple of my friends who had done similar acts of self mutilation, because they hated this particular job. So after several attempts, I managed to drive a 6 inch nail through my wrist from about 2000psi of air pressure. It instantly pinned my tendons, resulting in my left hand closing tightly. I was in A+E for about 4 hours before I was seen by a doctor. I made up a bullshit story, and he tried pulling out the nail, after I had an x-ray. The nail hit my wrist bone and split it on entry. After he managed to pull out the nail, I noticed that the copper coated barbs were missing. To which the doctor replied, "they'll work their way out eventually"... That was 20 years ago. I've noticed over the years, that if I'm standing near a powerful magnet, I get a severe pain in my wrist. Must be those copper/steel barbs in my tendons. The nail was on a roll of 250 that was belt fed. I've done some crazy shit to get out of work for the day, that little stunt got me 3 weeks weeks off instead 😂Air rifles are seriously underrated. As an avid air rifle enthusiast myself and having shot millions of rounds of ammunition that my friends sounded like .177 and with the way it “zwipach” sounded, pellet was moving around 1100-1210 fps “(750mph)”- “(825mph)” meaning on the low end it’s almost exceeding the speed of sound latter option is just ove Mach 1.1 or above the speed of sound! (Speed of sound is around 790 mph with factors and other variables) that asshole is absolutely not doing well especially if it’s a 7.4 grain pellet those carry around 12-15 ft lbs of force and we all know it can kill squirrels and medium dogs at close range! I personally use 13.43 grain heavy slug @ 915 fps and the average close to 25 ft lbs out of .177 (gun averages 1190-1230 fps with regular 8.0 grain Walmart pellets) I used to do a lot of nerd outs and vermin control when I was younger so this video tickles my dopamine receptors! I can absolutely tell everyone viewing for a well known absolute fact, his asshole will hurt for months and he will most like see an ER and his friend may die and we may see his friend on her next! Ohhhh what a lovely Sunday!!! @SPHINCTERPUNCH wanna confirm my analysis?Air rifles are seriously underrated. Um, 2000 PSI air pressure....I once shot myself with an airline fed nail gun. Pretty well; ON THE 💰!!!As an avid air rifle enthusiast myself and having shot millions of rounds of ammunition that my friends sounded like .177 and with the way it “zwipach” sounded, pellet was moving around 1100-1210 fps “(750mph)”- “(825mph)” meaning on the low end it’s almost exceeding the speed of sound latter option is just ove Mach 1.1 or above the speed of sound! Sounds like a Pretty Fortunate Angle 2 Me!!!One of my mum’s junior doctor stories always stuck with me…
She had a male patient that ended up dying due to a UK legal air rifle shot. He and his wife had been in the garden. The wife picked up the air rifle playing around and held it aimed at his face point-blank as a joke. Neither of them realised it was loaded and cocked. She pulled the trigger and the pellet entered his eye and travelled through the optic nerve into his brain. An amazingly unfortunate angle.
Wow thats quite the storyAir rifles are seriously underrated. A friend of mine got shot in the neck within millimeters of his jugular when he was about 17 or so.

Modern PCP (Pre Charged Pneumatic) airguns operate on a fill pressure of 3000 psi or 200 bar.Um, 2000 PSI air pressure....
Yah right! Make some more shit up...
Been shot in the face with a pellet gun. Popped out like a pimple a bit later 🙃
I think we need a second opinion on this, @Rick James may know whether this cause a rectal prolapse. Yah but he said "Air line powered" so I'm still not convinced.Modern PCP (Pre Charged Pneumatic) airguns operate on a fill pressure of 3000 psi or 200 bar.
Here’s my professional-prolapse-investigator opinion: It all depends on how tough his sphincter & rectal cavity is. If he, or catholic priests, have been dilating & penetrating it for years, his anus has a chance to recover from this damage. If this was the first time it’s ever been penetrated by a metallic object at a high rate of speed… his ass is in trouble.I think we need a second opinion on this, @Rick James may know whether this cause a rectal prolapse.
