It’s a pretty routine approach to minimums in a heavy rainstorm. He is flying an ILS with 200’ minimums. That means if he can’t see the runway landing zone, and make a safe landing, when he reached 200’ he must initiate a go around.@chewbok : we need some interpretion here.
Damn. I thought all you guys got BJ's from the stewardess'... well, there's always the ground crew I guess...It’s a pretty routine approach to minimums in a heavy rainstorm. You can see glimpses of the ground around 250-300’. Being able to see the ground directly below you and seeing the runway a mile or so in front of you aren’t the same. Layers of clouds and other factors…all that matters is your view ahead to the projected point of touchdown.
Anyway, this looks totally routine to me. It’s just the job. He didn’t shit his pants. He didn’t high 5 the copilot. He didn’t get a blow job from a stewardess. He just went home like always.
It’s real and he is hand flying the approach. Most people don’t want to know how sausage is made, they just want it to taste good.If it’s real thats all auto pilot is my quess.
The glass cockpit just presents the artificial horizon in a way gamers understand. It’s showing the same depiction as the analog gauges you and I know.Damn. I thought all you guys got BJ's from the stewardess'... well, there's always the ground crew I guess...
And thank you for that. I was looking at the artificial horizon and thinking it was looking ok but glass cockpits are a whole grade above my knowledge level.
