Anyone doing anything for Halloween? 🎃

Working lucky me
That sucks. Can you not request it off? Better yet, on the morning of Halloween, just call your boss and say "Hey, I won't be coming in today, I have some sort of infection in my my vagina..."

He or she will probably give you the week off...

That’s actually really awesome & interesting! May I ask where you’re from?
Australia, Tasmania. I think some small regions of Australia may celebrate it? But for the most part it's a weird concept here.

You don’t know what Halloween is?! - gasp - nah. I know everyone has their own thing everywhere different.
I was joking... it's inevitable meanwhile.
The supermarkets push Halloween quite hard every year here in Germany for years. Maybe it's on TV as well, I don't know.
Traditionally we have/had the Christian based 'St. Martin's day' where the kids go singing with lanterns from house to house and get sweets or a Euro.
But it's changing.. the woke shit has changed the name to 'Laternelaufen' (walking with lanterns) in several regions to not offend the Muslims.

Oh wow, this is all so interesting to me, honestly! I’m from America, New Orleans. I’ve always grew up with Halloween. I guess I just admired it so much because it’s the one day I didn’t get judged for SHIT. The way I looked anything, could be someone completely different for a whole day. But now idgaf I just really love watching my kids enjoy it and the decorating, scary movies.
Carve a few pumpkins, make pumpkin pie and cookies 🎃
Oooo save me some 🥺

That is so interesting, I’m very interested in learning about new things like this, would’ve never known! I think it’s pretty cool that everyone has their own little thing:
