It seems that the old fashioned bedlam style "treatments" are still a thing. Also, yeah, Japan will just put you in a loony bin in the mountains.

People are cruel. The lowest of the low treat mentally disabled or handicapped people badly. I bet they beat them everytime they have a bad day. Hidden cameras would probably solve this problem.

As the great John Lennon once said, "the mentally disabled is the nigger of the world..."
