She's one of those mothers who purposely keeps her child in a helpless state, just so she can continue to treat him like a baby. Kinda like whats-her-name in that one Stephen King novel/movie where she keeps the guy sick and breaks his ankles, just so she could have someone to care for.

Two other observations:

He looks like a Holocaust victim in one of the pics, not because they were starving him, but because that's basically what happens to a human body that doesn't get up and move around and use the muscles. That was muscle wasting away. Kid naturally had a high metabolism to begin with. So not much in the way of fat in the first place. Combine that with loss of muscle mass, and that's pretty much the result.

And one other observation:

The photo where it shows his eyes peaked open. That proves he was dead. His eyeballs had spread in opposite directions. Just the way they looked, you could tell there was no dilation at all. He was dead as a doornail.

Funny thing is, NPR fell to the celebrity death hoax that Kathy Bates died yesterday. I thought she was dead since NPR said she died, until just now and looked it up.
