It just depends on the state and local city laws. 35mph/55kph is more common for most major roads in towns, though.I read that on major city roads featuring a divider of two yellow lines between lanes the speed limit in China is.... 70 km/h (!!!). That's insane. That was likely this car.

Yeah. That must be nice. I wish we could slow down a bit, but Americans are always in a hurry, and our country is huge. It's 1300km just to cross my state from one side to the other.
