I had a coworker that really wanted to own one. They watched videos of people that kept them in their homes as pets, in a similar manner to a small pig. Could a giant guinea pig be a dangerous mammal? Fuck yes!

That's a capybara. The girl most likely trespassed into it's space ..and it probably had a little baby in the vicinity too. She was lucky. It could have done much more damage if it really wanted to...
