The original Metal Gear Solid on PS1. Can’t remember being so engrossed in a storyline, and the gameplay left you on tenterhooks. Fantastic game, but couldn’t really get into the sequels.

Borderlands series for me, I just loved going around looting all the equipment, found it fun to grind and upgrade my gear along the way, good replayability too

I would say the "game of life" and I continue to play it every day..
