It’s an actual fact that Thai, Singapore, Philippines and Asians as a whole can replicate vocalists to the point of being indecipherable. The band Journey got a Phillipino to sing for them to replicate Steve Perry’s voice. Didn’t disappoint.

Grew up with Japanese friends when I was in grade school (school was predominantly Asian and mix breeds like myself). Their families were not fond of the dark hued folks. They liked my white, Mexican, Portuguese self though.
