It is just a world with bad people and good people. The amount of pigment they have won't tell you which is which. I guess I have traveled too much. Places that governments tell you that are terrible or evil were never that. I thought China was an awful communist country full of suppression with a terrified society who hated American privelege.But when I went there for work, it wasn't. I thought it was actually really nice. Everyone is over the top respectful to you. It was like how I imagine the 1950's were in the US. 😂

Funny, my brother said nearly the exact same thing when his company sent him to Florida. He said "Media promotes the negatives despite the overwhelming positives."

I suppose you're both right, because how can any one of us truly discern between a truthful or exaggerated portrayal of a different culture, town, country, etc., without experiencing it firsthand?

Many religions rely strictly upon the concept of faith, believing entirely in something they've never seen...yet.
