I always thought it was funny when my brother copped it, but one time when one of my cousins who had an abusive father was getting the business, it was kinda sad. He’d hit with an open hand but one day I saw him clench his fist and start punching her in the ribs. It was the first time I’d seen this sort of thing and because of my age at the time I didn’t really understand. She was a bitch tho so I’m not too worried.😦

Yeah but isn't it strange how shit sticks? you remember that like it was yesterday even though all the years pass. (Not getting all deep and meaningful .. but , yeah) I have issues with not being able to go back in time and just jump out my bedroom window and go tell some cops what was going on in my house. It's a really frustrating feeling of regret I have now. We don't have any idea as kids that we actually DID have power.. we just never knew it.

Definitely. I was a little shit growing up and if I went back in time I’d probably help my mom kick my younger self’s ass too 🤣, but there’s definitely limits. Even when I was beating on my little brother I’d hold back.
