I thought I was doing things to "be nice to her" (monkey prank notwithstanding), but then I realized it was just extremely creepy and odd. We recently passed by on the stairs. Well, she was about to go up them, I was about to go down them. At first I think, SHIT, it's her... well, I'll just... wait here for her to pass. But she herself moved to the side, telegraphing she wanted me to come down first and then she would ascend. I had weights in my hand so she may have seen this and thought it would be rude to make me wait when I have ... weights. But yes there was no attempt on my part to bother her, no creepy "hi neighbor", no forced interaction. I just passed her and went on about my way.
