It is being fueled by a compressed natural gas (Gas Natural Comprimido), so the cars have an aditional tank in the back, that is common when is not well installed.

Looks like at the start there is a hose running from ( pump?) To engine bay? Taillights are on, so the ignition is on....think Kirk is right re the gas, that explosion was either a NOS kit, or CNG.
Very impressive explosion tho. Shrapnel for days 🤯

It says GNC there in the sign, only the video is being recorded with a potato. It is very common here in Argentina and other southamerican countries to do it in their cars, this kind of gas is cheaper than regular gas (nafta in here)
