I found out what this was. Townsfolk standing up to cartel who came in to show they were controlling the town. Town folk l with stood by to the 11 cartel members. All 11 were killed by the people. They fought back and won. The town men only had hunting rifles. But that didn't matter. They stood with them anyway. And killed all 11 that went there to assert dominance!! Well the people said HELL NO!! get the fuck out of here. Someone posted a video about this on YouTube. I always wondered what happened. This place was a small town. I don't know if that was a good idea. But incredible respect for the people of this town who said no more!!

I heard before about some villages defending themselves against the cartel, when I saw that video I guessed right, those guy armed with machetes and old rifles can't be from the cartel but just hard working peasants who got enough of this bullshit....
