Cat food companies have taken to putting fentanyl in the cat food to get cats to crave the food thus making the owners buy it...

Unless ones donated the other a kidney I can't think of a reason why someone would have both their cats under anesthetic at the same time.
I have heard of cats and dogs losing their balance if you trim their whiskers.

It’s a brain disorder called cerebellar hypoplasia. It happened in the womb when their mother must have been exposed to distemper/panleukopenia. Most cats with this condition can live a full life.

I've participated in TNR clinics here in my area. We round up a bunch of strays, spay or neuter then release them. They act just like this when they're waking up from the anesthesia. For this reason we keep them in their crates or carriers until they regain their faculties.
