The body of a man was found at the mouth of the São Francisco River, in the municipality of Piaçabuçu, this Thursday (03). Military police received, through a complaint, photos and videos of the body, and called the Legal Medical Institute (IML) and the Fire Department to remove the body. There is still no identification or information on the cause of death.
According to a police report, the garrison tried to reach the place through the Peba, in Piaçabuçu, but due to high tide and a stream, which is after the last bars on the beach, in the region known as “Barrinha”, access was not possible.
