I feel like the angle of that shot and his body reacting to it indicates he died long before he got to hospital. It really looks like the bullet did spinal damage and possibly spun upwards into the back of the head. I mean, how many videos have we seen on here where someone gets shot in the neck and are still semi mobile before collapsing. Maybe it was the caliber that makes this one so much worse, but all that being said. The hole was big enough and damage severe enough to send that much blood out that quickly, doesnt line up with reports in the media about how he was in critical condition before passing at the hospital.

It ruptured his carotid artery by the looks of it. Medics on site they could have given him clotting agents that would somewhat slow the bleeding down, but probably due to the other points that you raised it was just too catastrophic to survive after a short battle.

According to police they have the bolt action rifle, over 30 minutes of video of the shooter, his “footwear” (so DNA), imprints of his palm and forearms. It’s strange that they would say so much, but they did.

Kirk was dead before he was moved from that stage. Anyone with any knowledge of gunshot wounds , and rifles in particular, knows that amount of blood leaving your body that fast means he was dead while on stage
