Don't they have special shoes now for this profession, just for this scenario? In the 80's we had "Hi-Tec" boots, sorta like the modern combat, lightweight boot. They did NOT slip. Oil/water/electrical resistant.
Oh and GET SOME ICE, NOW, it's ONLY TEN feet away, or did THAT even "pop up" in their brains? That would LIMIT most of tissue damage and quiet the nerve endings.
