"Bodycam: Leon County deputy pulls gun on man pumping gas, mistaking nozzle for weapon

A viral body camera video circulating on social media shows a Leon County Sheriff's deputy aim his gun at a man who he thought was wielding a gun but actually was holding a gas nozzle.
The video, which was obtained by the Tallahassee Democrat Thursday through a public records request to LCSO, shows the deputy on Aug. 7 pull into the parking lot of a Circle K. He hops out of his SUV, draws his gun and yells at the man to show his hands. The man complies and puts his hands behind his back. "What are you doing?" the deputy asks after approaching.
"I'm filling up gas cans," the man answered.
"You understand you're holding it like this, like it's a pistol, right?" the deputy said, demonstrating with his hands.
The man, confused, explained that he was just waving his hand to get the cashier's attention to turn the gas pump on. The deputy said that's not what it looked like to those driving by on the road, and requested the man's drivers license.
As the deputy walked away to check his ID, the man started yelling to the other customers: "Did you see this man just pull a gun on me because I held up the [expletive] gas pump?"
"You know I'm going to get a lawsuit on you," the man said to the deputy.
The deputy continued to defend himself, saying it looked like he was holding a gun and that he didn't see the cord that connects the nozzle to the pump.
"Yeah you saw what you wanted to see," the man said. "You saw a mother [expletive] with tattoos ... you saw what you wanted to see you profiling mother [expletive]."

Typical dumb ass cop giving normal humans a hard time. Shit like this is why I dont give a fuck when they "bravely die in the line of duty". They're fuckkng idiots who start the problems they pretend to solve
Agreed, and I think the same about regular people who die doing stupid things like injecting fentanyl. You want to do drugs and then die, more power to you, the cops have no right to revive you with Narcan, in fact any cop who uses Narcan on a drug user should be prosecuted by that person for interfering with their constitutional right of the pursuit of happiness.

I don't even give a fuck if they die "bravely". Just die!! Motherfucking bullies with a badge is all they are.
I not only agree, but believe when someone's house is being burglarized the person should be legally forbidden from calling the cops since the cops may selfishly kill the burglar under the false pretense of being "scared". It should be the homeowner's own responsibility to kill the burglar for being scared and then dispose of the body in their backyard. Then the very need for police will go away and the whole institution will end.

If he were a nigger, he would be dead by now. :lulz:
Or at least 'cain hardly breath'-ing...

and then the 'dindu nuffin' followed by 'he's a good boi' and then mass riots, looting and burning and the media saying its all the white mans fault because of slavery back in the day and segregation and look how fucked the west is and how colonising etc etc etc.

It's always the same damn script.

Fuck this uniformed piece of shit and the unit he rode in on! If you're that afraid, stay home and mind your own business, cunt! The coward should have been curb stomped repeatedly right there at the pump, doused and set ablaze.
:whiskeyskip:
