I remember this video of two monkeys, one was fed a piece of cucumber while another was given a grape. The one that got the cucumber got jealous and began throwing shit and screeching. But when the one that was getting grapes got cucumber too the monkey settled down. It was a behavioural study on the perception of fairness among primates. Just as long as both monkeys recieved equal shares of the same treat they were happy, but once one got more than the other - violence broke out. Very interesting parallels in humanity.
