He is untouchable. No, I wouldn’t say he’s a suck pump, but he’s bilingual, and he pretty much exclusively works with 2 Cubans who don’t speak much English. He’s been with the boss for quite a few years. Not gonna lie, he works quick and does excellent work, he’s just a menace to everyone and gets away with it because of that. If he were fired, the other two guys would probably quit on the spot. Our boss knows that, and is willing to overlook shockingly abusive behavior to keep the company intact & functioning.

He’s apparently threatened to quit before, but the boss throws more money at him and begs him to stay. It sucks knowing this dickhead with a monstrous ego knows he can do as he wants without consequence.

sounds like the dude is taking total advantage of the situation,and the boss is an idiot for letting that happen. all the boss needs to do is start interviewing for that guys position and the other positions. then reverse the mental strategy on him. thats bullshit. i know the situation. i been in your shoes. The USMC should bring back the "penal corps". Where you opt to build roads, bridges, ditches, pipes, etc, for a felony conviction-no, you don't get "benefits" of any kind, just a chance to WORK outside during your incarceration.
