Hope it hurt, a lot.
Every time I see kids near the road my foot is hovering over the brake. They are totally unpredictable.
I remember being about 7 and my dad driving me to school. I saw a girl about the same age with her mates playing with a basket ball by the bus stop.
Bounce, bounce, bounce then it bounced into the road. She ran to grab it and a car hit her. She flew though the air for 50'? It seemed like she was airborn for ages. She died.
I've never forgotten that one...

i hate seeing shit like this because they ALWAYS run straight into the way of the car. they never make it across the road they'd be better off stopping so their shoulder gets clipped
