You just reminded me of a somewhat depressing religious theory I had recently. What we know for sure is that we definitely live the one life we have now, so that's a given, but what if reincarnation is real only in the sense that it allows us to experience this same life we are living now over and over again? What I mean is what if when we die we are reborn in the same body and time we were originally and our life plays out the same and we just don't know it? That would mean if you have a shitty short life, you are doomed to repeat it forever where if you have a privledged long life you are blessed to repeat it. So the heaven we see in the Bible is actually jist the heaven we make for our souls here and now because we will be going through this same life again and again forever in the same way. Die by drug overdose at 23 after a short fast paced life of sin? Always will. Die of old age after living life to the fullest? Always will. Heaven and Hell here on Earth. Flawed, maybe. True? No way to know.

Where I live the county "free" hospital for a large city in Texas has a average wait time of 18-24hrs and there have been a few people that have died waiting in the ER waiting room over the last 3-4 years

Just as you'd expect death from cardiac infarction when 40 000 runners head off for a marathon. It's just stats and an age gradient.

Not in the UK, as people with colds or the flu or petty illnesses go there too because they can’t get a doctors appointment, especially after covid and the doctors are used to working from home, ambulances are not aloud to drop anyone off at the A&E anymore they have to wait outside until they are called, so god help you if you need one, as there’s normally 10 waiting to drop off outside and it can be 10-12 hours
