I was in Melbourne this week and in some areas it was covered in graffiti. There was no sense of pride visible, shops with English and Arabic signs, it hardly appeared like Australia at all.

A mate of mine who is a psychiatrist was telling me of an assessment he made on a 17 year old aboriginal anti social. My mate said 'But you know that if you keep doing crime you'll end up in gaol?' The kid said "but no one is going to send a 17 year old aboriginal kid to gaol..."

So instead of gaol we have this stuff now in Victoria:
Note the faux white 'aboriginal' people, pretend aboriginal 'art', possum skins and gum leafs. Victoria was settled over 200 years ago and no one there who 'identifies as aboriginal' has any link to any culture other than English. They all speak english, have all been to main stream schools, etc etc

I'm as white as they come. Well, I tan up in summer but that's because my great great great grand mother took it from a Roman back the day in England. But I said, as I met someone in Albury Wodonga health, where I worked, that I identify as indigenous. "Oh, how wonderful!" she said. You can't do any wrong if you say you're abo. And if you tick the box at the GP you get not only free medical treatment but free meds from the chemist.
