Yeah, people who are closest to me know. Casual friends not so much. It’s nice not to have to hide it even though it’s not exactly something I can bond with someone over. My S.O does hunting so is no stranger to enjoying stuff like shooting things to death and then chopping them up. They prefer deer guts and I prefer people guts 🥰

I see my 81 year old pops a few times a month. He knows and he's known since I was a preteen in the early AOL days. He doesn't approve. And won't watch anything I attempt to show him. Yeah they do, they think it's fucked up but when I explained it's basically conditioning myself for a traumatic experience they somewhat understood.

Say someone's gets killed in front of another person and I, that other person is likely to be severely traumatized and require therapy for the next couple years.

Same goes for accidents as well though, I feel I'm more likely to remain calm and provide first aid instead of freezing up or panicking like lots of people do.

I'm gonna give a sympathetic "that fucking sucks" after and continue on with my day.


Now that I'm typing this out though, could be a strong possibility I'm just a psychopath.
