Serial killer? Nope thats a far grasp. he was as already stated a bit ahead of his time. Im living a mates agony as his 96 and 92 year old parents slowely die. falling over, unable to bath, feircly independant,refusing help,angry at their consuming limitations, and the list goes on. maybe there is the arguement? but this dude hes no killer.

Even the Nazis found carbon monoxide to be serious, so they switched to cyanide, i.e. the grain-based Cyclone B, when gassing Jews and other elements because they found the time too long.
Thus, in Auschwitz Birkenau II, gassing was done exclusively with Cyclone B in the gas chambers from 1941 onwards.
This was preceded by thorough research and before that, cyanide was used as a disinfectant, but the Nazis realized that it was capable of gassing large masses of people in large doses. If they turned it into gas, they could do the job much faster and could gass more people. This was the most advanced poison of the time, the Nazis themselves used it for suicide in small liquid capsules form during or at the end of the war because it is immediately absorbed by the mucous membranes, it is highly toxic.
I also agree with euthanasia, but only if the patient is clearly in the terminal stage.
Unfortunately, euthanasia is still banned in most countries, and there is no point in taking the lives of patients because they are in such severe pain that even the strongest painkillers are of no use, and in many cases they are so sick that they cannot eat or drink, cannot get up from the bed or are not with themselves because they are kept under anesthesia.
In my opinion, it is unnecessary to make them suffer if they are truly in the terminal stage.

Dr Jack possessed a gift in the same way that a veterinarian possesses the gift of ending pain, suffering and imparting dignity.
