Not sure why everyone thinks this is weird. My doctor always gives me a little slap as a part of my routine physical. Here in the US medicine is far more advanced so my doctor knows the best thing to slap is my bare ass. I am so grateful for western medicine.

I had a doctor once give me a weird kind of a karate chop under my ribs - it was like a punch to my gall bladder or some shit , I was too in shock to remember properly, but it got rid of my heartburn !!! LOL I'm laughing remembering it
