Police Dude charging at cops with knife

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. — A 29-year-old man, identified as Nicholas David Anderson, died from injuries sustained in an officer-involved shooting near the Bear River Family Entertainment Center on Thursday.
The incident happened at around 3:31 p.m. when Anderson reportedly charged a Humboldt County Sheriff's Deputy with a knife in a threatening manner. In response, a deputy fired his service weapon, striking Anderson in the chest.
The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office said the shooting was witnessed by bystanders and captured on body cameras worn by the deputies. They said preliminary information indicates that Anderson was not a resident of Humboldt County, and his reason for being in Loleta is under investigation.
Investigators are working to establish a timeline of Anderson's whereabouts and actions in the days leading up to the incident. The HCSO said License Plate Recognition cameras show a vehicle associated with Anderson arriving in Humboldt County from Simi Valley on June 3. They said Anderson appears to have used an alias to receive medical treatment for a pre-existing injury at a local facility while in the area.
Two deputies involved in the shooting have been placed on routine paid leave pending the investigation's outcome. A forensic autopsy is expected to be completed in the coming days, which may provide further information.
The multi-agency Humboldt County Critical Incident Response Team, led by the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office and the Humboldt County District Attorney's Office, is investigating the case. Authorities urge anyone with information about the case or related criminal activity to contact the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office at (707) 445-7251 or the Crime Tip line at (707) 268-2539.

Lead seems to be the deciding factor, one more round , please

Cops can’t decide if it’s a knife or a gun, and gangsta-gripping their own service weapons ?
High caliber police work, gentleman.

They should be trained to spot the difference between the timid tearful Suicide by Cop people, and the, “I’m taking down as many pigs as I can before they take me out” people.
