A CNG autorickshaw driver was killed in a gas cylinder explosion in Feni. The explosion took place at Devipur Prime CNG pump in Sharshadi Union of Feni Sadar Upazila at 7 am on Monday. Another CNG-powered autorickshaw driver was seriously injured in the incident.
The deceased's name is Saidur Rahman Roni, he is the son of Noor Islam of Dakshin Adharmanik village of Radhanagar union of Chagalnaya upazila. Injured Zahid Alam's house is in Noabpur village of Sonagazi upazila.
Saidur Rahman Shubo, the cashier of the pump, said that there was a lot of traffic at the pump in the morning. When Ronnie's car is gassed in a double cylinder, the cylinder explodes with a loud noise. When two people were rescued and taken to Feni's 250-bed hospital, the on-duty doctor declared Roni dead.
