happened to a friend of my dad's back in the 60s. Drunk as fuck behind the wheel of a powerful speedboat, hit a sandbar at ridiculous speed, went flying through the cabin, got knocked-out and drowned. he always drove his Chevy Impala drunk as fuck, never got pulled over once. I remember countless crashes in his car as a kid - but that car was like a fucking tank. his car boot was always full of ice cold beers - good old days
