I hate to be the party pooper, but this is actually scary because this could be a side by side duplex or apartment and the stray bullet could hit your kids bedroom. Before I bought my house 35 years ago ( Yeah, I am old... 58) We had a drunk guy downstairs who constantly put things in the oven after a night of drinking and would fall asleep and burn pizzas in the oven all the time. It was usually just the normal smoke of a burnt pizza which was bad enough, but he finally burnt the place down because he was a smoker and fell asleep on the couch. We had to exit through a second story window.
The drunk ass punk was standing down below with the police and fire dept. Cheering us on as my family exited a second story window because he was happy we survived. I walked up to the guy in only a pair of Blue Jockey underwear and pounced on him. I got arrested for battery.
Charges were later dropped after the whole building stuck up for me.
This is scary that people record this stupid shit now and think it is funny. What has happened to common sense and consequences of actions?
BTW, I am not getting soft, I think the Cartel need to up their game. High quality vids like ISIS used to do. I want to see drug dealers killing each other in the most gruesome ways and not filming it with a potato.

Your story moved me, but I wish you had put a pizza warning in front of it. I love pizzas, and reading about them being burnt is really very disturbing to me.
