Chile seems to be the place to be if you want the earth to swallow you whole.

"The strongest earthquake ever recorded also happened in Chile, a magnitude-9.5 tremor in 1960 that killed more than 5,000 people."

Well the info we have here (in Chile) is that the strongest one was of 6.5 richter, I have family there and they say that there's nothing to worry about, that nothing big actually happened.. And trust me it was nothing, in 2010 we had a 7.9 earthquake that was long and strong as hell, and we were pretty much ok.

Yeah from all the articles on it, it didn't seem like there was any damage so... Just figured I'd spread the word. ;)

Fun fact: Alaska holds the #2 spot of strongest quakes at 9.2. Fun times.
