The Prosecutor's Office of the Sovietsky District of Kazan has launched an investigation into the injuries sustained by a passenger in a faulty elevator at the Legenda residential complex. The agency's press service reported this.
A video posted on social media shows a person falling to the elevator floor after suddenly braking. During the inspection, the regulatory agency will assess compliance with the law regarding the maintenance, repair, and operation of elevator equipment in the apartment building.
"If there are grounds for doing so, the question of taking response measures will be considered," the prosecutor's office stated."
