no i was never mugged or personally assaulted in any way, so i consider myself fortunate. Home residence never burglarized either.

Rode subways at 3 in the morning, walked thru Marcus Garvey Park on a Friday evening in the summer, walked diagonally thru Central Park at 3 in the morning, walked around Alphabet City and Tompkins Square Park when it was bad, Times Square in the 70s/80s, life's been good to me.
