It's human nature to be interested in this stuff. Death is natural. Humans spend their whole lives watching their loved ones pass away knowing that well eventually face the same fate. A curiosity about death is of course only natural.

Im sure billions of people frequent these sites. So many people get into certain lines of work out of interest in death and gore! People look down on these sites, and the people who frequent them, because society has deemed gore as socially unacceptable, just as they've deemed prostitution, pornography, drug addiction, mental illness and even ones right to end their own life as unacceptable. People who do certain things or are in certain situations are to be looked down on because "normal people aren't like that; they dont like that, do that, or think like that". So, nobody wants to admit that they have an interest (that they are a certain way or do certain things) and risk being deemed undesireable or abnormal in some way. Thats why (as I mentioned) so many people get into first responding and medical careers to fulfill their interest (and they get praise for helping people, instead of looked down on for being a wierdo who like gore).

Western society has nothing to do with death. We (might) see our loved ones when they pass, then we (might) see them in a coffin at their funeral, all of the dots in between are left out. We dont see the dead bodies! We dont see dying! Or death rattles! Death is censored in western society and I think it drives the interest up. I think the ignorance promotes violence out of interest in alot of situations. There are places in our world that are more connected to death, and there is alot less mindless violence (such as school shootings, mass shootings, etc) and alot less interest in death/dying/gore.

I think the only problem with gore... is the way society views people who have an interest in something that is so natural that everyone goes through it. If people were more connected with death, they may have more appreciation for life.

How to not be censored, at least on facebook and twitter. Poland, Hungary and Mexico passed anti-censorship laws so you can take advantage of it.
1. Use VPN so your IP address shows that you live in Poland or Mexico.
2. Use a Polish or Mexican name and occasionally use deepl to translate a post into what you are pretending your first language is.
3. If they do censor you then you can get your account back, then they'll be too scared of heavy fines and you'll be able to say whatever you want.

I've been watching gore for years honestly. I've been interested ever since I was a child. When I got older I started watching police shooting videos. But they were always so censored. I then started to look for uncensored death videos and found extreme gore but that went away. Then I found goregrish and signed up for it right away lol!!! Watching uncensored gore really gave me a real appreciation for life and what I have in my own middle class life. My family knows that I watch police shootings, they don't think it's funny and they think that I'm sick in the head. I don't tell them of my watch of uncensored gore for obvious reasons lol!!! I don’t spend a lot of time with it, and I don’t get any shit for it. 10 or 11? Jesus, at 10 or 11 I was out riding bikes and catching frogs and climbing trees and stuff, the speed at which kids are forced by the interweb to grow up these days is beyond disturbing, gore would’ve ruined my poor little kid brain at that age.

I feel like there must be something just a little off in anyone’s brain who isn’t a little put off by a lot of this kind of stuff (I’m horrified by some of it on occasion), but I don’t necessarily think it’s a problem even if you really, REALLY like it as long as the rest of your lifestyle is reasonable and relatively harmless.
