I spoke to my surgeon about them using cadaver bone before my own spine surgery, as I would refuse it since there is no way of knowing who it came from (I asked) but, thankfully, he said a lumber lamanectomy was what he thought would benefit me more than a fusion so, it was moot after that.
I'm not against the practice in general, just for me personally, cadaver anything is going to have to be a hard pass, organ donation as well even if it would extend my life. Sux but, thems the rules.

There is a rumor that the bones contain Sulphur which helps create the "high" but I call bullshit. If anything from the bones might possibly be traces of formaldahyde from when the bodies are treated before burial. It would be an insignificant amount to cause a 'high'. Apparently Kush is just crap made with mostly fentanyl.
