My uncle was out on his farm property. Went alone to cut trees for firewood. Ended up in a similar situation where a tree limb landed on him and broke his back in two. 4 hours passed before my aunt found him. When he found out he wouldn't walk anymore, he literally gave up on life. He died in a rehab place from not eating or drinking. I don’t blame him. Going from the freedom of farming to being in a wheelchair and having someone change your diapers was no way for him to have lived.
