When I was in Nepal after the earthquake everyone was hiking back down to lukla to fly out (was 2 days away), except 2 fat Canadians, who paid $20k each to get helo’d back to Kathmandu during the rescue operations (people were stuck at camp 2, and base camp where a massive avalanche had killed 22)
