This morning, Finnish authorities confiscated the Russian-controlled "Eagle S" oil tanker after it was found not only to have cut 3 undersea energy and communications cables, but was also full of sanctioned oil and advanced Russian spy equipment. And Putin has hundreds of these all over the world...

Yes of course, boats now have scissors and blades at the bottom of the hull that can cut cables, especially an oil tanker, which needs to have the engine in reverse for hours just to stop and with almost zero maneuverability. And there are no rocks under the sea, the "scissors" must be retractable. 😆

And if the Finns change their story, and tell it was an accident, is another thing that's impossible, because if the ship's keel reached the bottom of the sea, damaging the cables, it would also have to remain stranded for the rest of its "life".

Since you're interested, I'll try to explain. You know those submarines that go to explore the Titanic? It's similar and these submarines are dropped by boats.
The Baltic Sea is between 50 and 100m deep, it is actually quite shallow, however the cables pass in the deepest area, meaning the engineers who build these infrastructures know very well that there are boats sailing in the sea and to avoid damage everything is put at the bottom. Otherwise we would have cables and pipelines destroyed every day.
In the case of an oil tanker, imagine a train without brakes, it's much worse, it's not a boat that can be used to carry out an act of sabotage.
