disaster Forget You, I've Got Passengers To Pick Up

Yeah, it seems that happened in New York City. It's a civil rights violation of the federal ADA/ADAAA laws and that driver is guilty and in a whole lot of trouble over it. The disabled citizen can not only sue the driver, but also the bus company, too. He should get a decent check out of that just to keep it out of civil court. I'd be shocked if the driver keeps his job. Oh, and if that was an actual bus stop marked by a sign placed by the city, he can nail them too for violating the ADA for not having an accessible ramp cut out of the sidewalk there, causing the fall in the first place. There is no excuse for either of those things to have happened apart from "Some people are really fucking stupid!" - George Carlin, famous New Yorker 😉
