Well then that's for the courts to decide. That decision won't be made on the side of the road I can promise you that. So you ask for an attorney and then comply with whatever bullshit they tell you to do. You don't have to speak to them after you ask for an attorney but you do have to comply with their orders after that.
That's how the system and your rights work.

I'll give an example of how acting a certain way removes certain rights.
You are driving with drugs and weapons in your locked car trunk.
You get pulled over and the cop ask to search the vehicle. You say no. The law says that a cop can sit in the drivers seat and anywhere he can reach from that seat he can search plus your body. This is along the lines of a "safety rule" that is used so you can't hurt them with a hidden weapon. The cop ask you to get out so he can search. You say no and start putting up a fight. After they get you out and arrest you, this makes it so they can now legally search the trunk. When you could have said no they can't search it but then exited the vehicle and let them search. If during that search they opened the trunk and found drugs and guns, they wouldn't be allowed to use that as evidence in your trial.
Either way you go you lose the guns and drugs, one the legal way and the other illegal way.
Even tho your rights were violated, there's nothing you can do about it but you will be a free man still instead of serving 25-life.
Of course someone like you would be pathetic enough and a coward when it comes to how this was dealt with. I don't like black people but I also don't want to be treated in the fashion that she was treated. I think the police actually handled it pretty well. I don't think everyone deserves a bullet that resists and I think that our police should be intelligent enough to make better decisions.
