TAINAN, Taiwan– Much of Taiwan and coastal China are cleaning up after Typhoon Soudelor slammed the region this weekend.

5 were killed in Taiwan and 5 were still missing as of Saturday night. Nearly 200 were injured when the storm raked across the island with high winds and flooding rain.

Tropical systems are notorious for producing quick, spin-up tornadoes when they move inland. Video has surfaced, reportedly from Tainan, Tawain, showing a fast-moving tornado tossing trees and a van.
