Gore/death fascination?

Do you people ever wonder why you like to look at death, gory stuff or whatever? What makes you drawn to it? I'd love to hear different views, opinions and reasons.

What is your specific interest in gore and why do you think it is? I'll put mine in the comments.

Nobody knows that I go to multiple sites but my family knows I can stomach the gore in horror stuff. I long for the chance to see what killing someone is like. The high, the chase, the blood, all of it, seeing gore kinda lets me imagine I did that to a stranger. I do have a deep need for revenge against my abuser so that probably factors in.

I'm a necrophile, but it stems from a psychotic delusion I have + a general love for the beauty of death and its different forms. It's both sexual and genuinely romantic for me. It's something I PROBABLY would never try to feed in real life, and come here instead to reduce the mental swelling. Sometimes I relate more to the dead than the living ever since I was really young and it's one of the things that affect a lot of my relationships, but I'm working on it. I usually prefer to see whole, fresh corpses, but no matter what I always have a sad pitying "I could help them" type of feeling when I see them, even though I know that's technically not true but yeah

I watch it,notably murders and torture to try and understand why people would do such horrible things.Then I realize,we are human and there are some bad motherfuckers out there.Basically reminded me that death can come at any time.I also can thank some other gore videos for making me be more aware of my surroundings.Thanks China🤣
