I'm willing to believe that @PurrGirl's IQ is relatively high, simply going by some of the wonderfully worded posts of hers that I have read - high verbal acumen, after all, is a good indicator of one aspect of IQ - that stand as proof enough for me. If the NASA thing is true, then that would likely be an indicator of her high logical reasoning acumen too.

Well, I have a university degree and two postgraduate degrees. That is from the classic student field, I also have several certifications in different specializations.

But I always maintained the same thing, intelligence is not defined merely by knowledge, knowledge is... knowledge. Not intelligence. Intelligence is defined as the human capacity to adapt to an environment.

Therefore, there may be people who do not have as much knowledge but who may be particularly intelligent.

For that reason, and unless there is clear evidence to prove otherwise, as is the case with slickrick27 who:

• Establishes as facts things that are merely a product of his imagination.
• Makes up things about me or puts words in my mouth that I did not say
• Cannot properly understand a text, he does not even understand what he himself wrote
• Mixes up the points and adds statistics without understanding how to read a statistic
• Asks you questions where he wants you to be honest, but at the same time conditions your answers and answers himself with something that is also a pure product of his imagination

I hardly consider someone who is not intelligent just for disagreeing with me. In fact, my whole life revolved around the same concept: "I will never learn anything by listening to myself, but I can learn a lot by listening to others...."

When I was a kid growing up in Utah we had a famous idiot savant who could to the same thing. His name was Kim we met him at the library’s, we always met him with these challenges . Memorize the phone book and tell me my grandmas address shit.

Why is that relevant? The most common reason people are wealthy is because they inherited. People who actually made their fortune usually did so with some combination of luck, connections, craftiness, and willingness to fuck over other people. They also need to value money or success greatly and be willing to trade their time for it often to the exclusion of relationships and interests that aren't profitable.

My pinnacle of exploiting my intelligence for money was when I worked as a computer programmer for NASA (I can prove that too, btw). It wasn't worth it. Yes, I bought a house and a new car. But I had a long commute, lots of stress, and never had enough time to pursue other interests.

It was a clear joke, lady. You don’t have to be a genius to determine that IQ doesn’t necessarily correlate to money in the bank. I thought it was pretty funny.
