ovechkin has more yrs to go too! the great gretsky retired at i believe 38 and ovechkin is only 36. so he has a few more yrs in him to make the record harder to break. i have more respect for him,not because of breaking the record but by not taking advantage of an empty net. he earned the record breaking goal. kudos to him.
