Yes she left the room with the baby but she got up and left the baby on the bed. The baby could have gotten shot.

That baby nearly got squished by one of those armed Cub Scouts. The dead man didn't seem concerned about protecting his family by cooperating with the gunmen, so at least they wouldn't shoot him right there. That woman's face showed no emotion whatsoever. I got the feeling that she was expecting what went down.
The baby was the only one I liked. I prefer to imagine that he or she was the mastermind behind this hit.
