I've never seen it that big. We had a hair storm about 6 weeks ago but it was marble sized. It sounded like the tin roof was being belted with rocks though. All the cars were under cover as hail damage can be a problem. Sydney, 500 km north of us gets bigger hail reguarly.

That stuff above would be dangerous to be out in. Tile roofs would be getting cracked tiles etc.

Probably the Gold Coast during that Cat 1 cyclone they got the other day.

We did get two days of good rain a couple of days back. I went out walking with Ruby in it. gloarious stuff and gave everthing a deep soak. Rain is so good when you don't have it for a while...

We get gold ball sized hail every 2-3 years. It’s a great time to buy vehicles. They discount the hell out of them die to the cosmetic damage. It’s the only time I have ever bought a new car off the lot.

On a serious note they have been known the cripple and kill though. An umbrella doesn’t help much and driving down the highway in the middle of a storm can be deadly.

The fools can’t see and the brakes don’t work…
