Sierra Bicycle Werks says a bicycle seen in a video is their Electra brand bike, and that the incident quickly unfolded when a man attempted to take it without paying.
That's when one of the shop's employees came rushing out and tackled the thief.
No one was hurt and the bike was successfully recovered.
The owners of the shop say this is just one of many incidents they've had involving break-in's and thefts.
They've had their windowns broken and one incident that resulted in a major insurance claim and increased premiums.
For a small, locally owned shop, they say those losses are difficult to absorb.
