Yawn...... in case you folks dont realise it, this is a free-running video. Inmates in British prisons do not wear tracksuits.
They can and they do....
They do wear track suits. They wear red striped for remand, blue striped for convicted and yellow striped for high risk (absconders / nonces, etc...). They'll wear blue and white striped shirts for visiting / hospital trips, along with jeans.
But you're right, this isn't a prison escape at all.
Well, let me correct my opinion - when I was incarcerated in 1997 to 1999 at HMP Craiginches, we were made to wear blue denim jeans and light blue cotton shirts. I've not been back to prison since then, so I can only bow to the more knowledgable people in the chat.
Times have changed then in the 25-years since I was behind bars.
