Since 2001, when I joined GG, I have noticed that every time I log in there are only a few hundred members logged in. It’s still weird knowing that there are now more than 400,000 members!! I know that we don’t all live in the same country and, of course, when it’s night for some people it’s day for others, but I wonder: are we only a few hundred or thousands of crazy people here? Would we be manipulated by the matrix or by the moderators ?? LOL of course, respect for the moderators but the question remains...

40,000 unique IP's per day (guests) and about 2500-3000 different registered members log in daily on average. You don't have to be logged in to view viral videos etc and it brings a lot of traffic/data with it, over half a petabyte in bandwidth a year from video.

There are bots that crawl websites and index content so sites like google, bing, duckduckgo work and produce links when you ask them things.
